Paul O Brien Bullying worshop

Today Paul O Brien visited Year 3 and spoke to us about bullying. We collected some words and feelings about bullying, and as Paul is a song writer, he put all of our words into a song about a bully who changes his ways.

The song we wrote together is called "Together we can shine."

    I was pleased the way you did this subject on bullying. Using music was a good way to get across to the children. Our family had a good chat about this.

    Thank you, the children provided all of the thoughts and feelings that both a bully and someone being bullied would feel.
    Paul put this to music and the result you can (almost) see.

    What a good idea it was to teach the children about bullying in this way.My child really enjoyed it and understood the message being put across.I enjoyed watching it.Thanks Mr Barton.

    No problem. It was a good session and the children enjoyed it and were singing the song back in class.
