This morning we examined a Roman Legionary. We found that he carries a spear.(pilum) and a sword (gladius) .
He has a helmet and body armour to protect him.
He carries a back pack which has bedding, rations, cloak and utensils. More information can be found here.

Today we created a leaflet using MS publisher to tell what the Roman soldier wore and carried. We will carry on with this next week to get it finished.
