Literacy - Performance Poetry

This week in Literacy we will be looking at performance poems. We will start at looking at a poem that links to our work on Romans.

Look at the first verse. How might we perform it? Can we make our own verse for it?

This is a song for Caesar’s men
Sinister Dexter Sinister Dexter
Who like a rhyme, every now and then
Sinister Dexter Sinister Dexter

To tell of how they marched the world
Sinister Dexter Sinister Dexter
With Eagles high and cloaks unfurled

History topic - Romans

We have started work on the Romans. We have been learning lots of interesting facts.

Did you know the floors of Roman buildings were often richly decorated with mosaics? (Tiny coloured stones ).

You can use this program to have a go at making your own!

Maths work this week

In maths this week, we will start looking at multiplication and division methods.
This is a good division reminder.
