Our project on Spain

We have been finding out about Spain. We will be performing a song in Spanish at the Summer Fayre on 19th June. All year groups are finding out about a country for our One World Month.
Remember your projects on Spain are due in next Tuesday (15th June). We can not wait to read them!

We shall be continuing our work on rocks. Last lesson we created a fact file. Can you remember the names of some of the rccks? This week we shall be talking about the words 'durable' and 'permeable'. Do you know what these words mean?

Writing
Must I can use capital letters and full stops when writing a sentence.
Should I can use commas to separate items in a list.
Could I can use a comma when I add detail to a sentence with a clause at the end.

Reading
MUST I can explain, for example, alphabetical order, layout, diagrams, captions, different types of punctuation, hyperlinks and bullet points.
SHOULD I can identify the basic features of organisation in different text types.
COULD I can use my knowledge of different organisational features of a text to help me find information.

RE next week

Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday. We will be reflecting on the Gospel on Monday.

We have already talked about what happened at Pentecost and how the Holy Spirit changed the apostles' lives.
In our lesson on Friday we will be talking about how the Holy Spirit appeared at Jesus's Baptism. What do we already know?
